Applied Engineering Orders Metron G2 Laser Scanner for 3D Verification of Aerospace Parts

SEATTLE, Wash. January 7, 2007 — Applied Engineering, Inc., a leading manufacturer of aerospace parts, has ordered a fully automated laser scanning system from Metron Systems. After verification, the system will allow Applied Engineering to rapidly confirm the 3-dimensional quality of fabricated parts, thereby decreasing inspection time and increasing the quality of the company's manufacturing processes.
